MISS AMANDA MARIE CURTIS
Miss Amanda M.Curtis, age 24 passed away unexpectedly in a car accident early Sunday morning in Grand Rapids. She was born in muskegon on March 28, 1984 to Darleen Curtis, and Jimmy Grider, Jr. She loved playing softball and spending time with her daughter and the rest of her family.SURVIVORS include her parents, Darleen Curtis and Jimmy (VICKIE) Grider; her daughter Neva'eh Curz; Eddie Cruz; 1 sister, Maria Bartee; 8 Brothers, Tyrone Williams, Lee Curtis, Jimmy III, Jeremy, Nathanyu, Keith, JaShawn, and Jonathan Grider. She is also survived by her grandparents, Pat VanNoordwyk, Vonnie Sanders, LaJoyce Grider, Gary and Barb Curtis; her in-laws, Edilberto and Anna Cruz; aunts and uncles, Debbie, Jack (Vickie), Burl (Julie) Curtis and Brenda Frierson-Grider; Her God-Parents, Stan & Georgetta Hussey and many other aunts, uncles and special friends. She was preceded in death by 2 grandfathers, Jimmy Grider, Sr. and Pete VanNoordwyk. Services will take place 1:00PM Friday, November 14, 2008 at Queen Esther Baptist Church with Rev. Samuel Greer, Jr. officiating. Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the church. Interment will take place in Restlawn Cemetery the Family has requested in lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions to the family.
